I’m Lucy, an interior designer and founder of House by Lucy.

I believe that beautiful surroundings can change how we feel, and that even small, inexpensive changes can have a big impact on our well-being. I love to create characterful and relaxed homes, and design inviting spaces, full of warmth and charm, reflecting the people who live in them.

After teaching for 20 years and designing and renovating my own homes, I found myself increasingly drawn to interior design. In 2022, I made the decision to switch lanes, so I gained a qualification and set up House by Lucy. Since then, I have been helping others to create spaces they will love for a long time, from large period properties to new builds.

My approach is friendly and collaborative - from informal consultations to full room designs. I love getting to know people and enjoy working closely with my clients to design bespoke and personalised spaces that suit them perfectly.
